SCG Urban were engaged by Certainty Wealth to undertake the Urban Engineering Design and Contract Administration of the River Bend Estate being a residential subdivision located in Mirani, west of Mackay.
The project forms part of a broader regional growth corridor responding to increasing housing demand within the Pioneer Valley. The development comprises of around 250 allotments supported by a new local park and access to the Pioneer River.
The development incorporates the required road infrastructure, stormwater drainage systems, sewer & water reticulation. The infrastructure has been designed to integrate with existing Council services networks and surrounding natural environment.
In addition, the access to the existing road network required coordination with TMR and Council to connect to a State controlled road network.
SCG Urban worked closely with the client and Mackay Regional Council to progress development approvals for Riverbend Estate including Urban Engineering design for the staged delivery, ensuring compliance with planning requirements and efficient infrastructure outcomes. Riverbend contributes to sustainable residential growth within the Pioneer Valley, delivering well-planned housing opportunities aligned with regional development objectives.
