Construction Management Services Urban Engineering and Design
SCG Urban has been engaged by East Land 5 Pty Ltd to provide the Urban Engineering Design and Construction Management services to deliver the proposed residential lots along with the overall site bulk earthworks and land slip remediation.
The site is located within the Tweed City Council and will look to provide allotments ranging in size from 600m2 to 900m2.
The site grading and earthworks have proved challenging but we have worked closely with the Geotechnical engineers to best utilise site materials to ensure the project budgets were achieved.
The project is an old state approved to produce a total of around 160 residential lots. This stage is only 12 lots but presented topographical and access challenges which have been overcome through working with DOP and TSC during the detailed design phase. We also had to address ESC and Cultural heritage matters along the Fraser Drive frontage.
Due for completion in late 2020 this stage will then flow onto Stage 13 & 16 resulting in an additional 32 lots to the market in 2021 with the remaining lots expected to be delivered within the next 2 – 3 years.
